We are seeking an experienced Field Services Supervisor to lead and support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of large power transformers (up to 850 MVA / 500 kV). This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on leadership in the field, and the ability to work closely with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Lead and coordinate the installation and commissioning of large power transformers, ensuring all work complies with technical instructions and quality standards.
Provide technical support for field issues, factory matters, and customer requests, applying strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Oversee installation of external parts and components, guiding subcontractors and customer engineers through assembly and testing.
Support and guide electrical testing and pre-commissioning activities.
Conduct root cause analysis and investigations on transformer issues as they arise.
Document all job activities thoroughly with clear and detailed written reports.
Serve as a professional representative of the company, maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
Promote and uphold company values, policies, and a culture of professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
Prior experience with transformer installation, commissioning, and maintenance strongly preferred.
Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and vacuum oil processing desirable.
Experience with connecting external wiring and performing inspections on transformers.
Skilled in instructing and managing subcontractors during field operations.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company professionally in challenging environments.
Ability to resolve complex technical issues with support from the Field Services Manager.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
