Sales Estimator – Commercial & Multifamily

We’re seeking a driven, process-oriented Sales Estimator with a strong commercial painting background and the desire to grow into a sales-focused role. Candidates may come from estimating, project management, or sales within the commercial painting industry. The ideal candidate is hungry to win, coachable, and motivated to build a successful sales career—identifying new opportunities, building relationships, developing proposals, and turning prospects into profitable customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect and develop new business across multifamily, HOA, senior living, and commercial markets.
  • Conduct site visits, assess project needs, and develop accurate scopes and estimates.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and in-person meetings.
  • Prepare and present competitive proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle while maintaining a strong, qualified pipeline.
  • Partner with operations and estimating teams to ensure accurate pricing, scopes, and smooth project handoffs.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer information in the CRM.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships to drive repeat and referral business.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of proven success in estimating, project management, or B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated experience generating your own leads through prospecting, networking, and relationship development.
  • A relentless hunter mentality.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to uncover new opportunities.
  • Experience in commercial construction, repainting, facilities services, or related industries is a must.
  • CRM experience preferred.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistently generating qualified new opportunities and expanding the sales pipeline.
  • Meeting or exceeding new business and revenue goals.
  • Establishing long-term relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial owners, and decision-makers.
  • Effectively partnering with the estimating team to convert opportunities into profitable projects.
  • Serving as a trusted representative of the company and its core values in every client interaction.
