Director of Sales/Business Development– 6-figure Base + Performance Bonus + Great Benefits – Fast Growth Independently-Owned Painting Company in Rocklin, CA – Recession-Proof - Must live within one hour’s drive to Rocklin, CA.

Our client, Perryman Painting & Remodeling is one of Sacramento Valley’s fastest-growing residential and commercial painting and remodeling companies, with a reputation for exceptional work and commitment to their clients and the communities where they work.

Over the next several weeks we will be interviewing Sales Leader/Manager candidates who have a passion for leading and coaching sales professionals and have the drive to achieve goals when there are performance rewards as a part of that achievement.

Purpose of Sales Leader/Manager Role:

The Sales Manager is a high-performing leader who shares in the vision of the company and works to continually drive, improve, and create new systems to ensure we deliver our proven process with excellence. They lead powerfully as an expert communicator and coach. They lead by example as a critical part of the leadership team.

You must a highly influential leader, a positive communicator, and embrace the details.   You must also be data-driven, results-oriented, and an expert coach and developer of people.  You must have a strong understanding of new business development and community involvement.  You are a strong decision-maker who empowers your teams to take on responsibilities, own their roles, and hold yourself and others accountable.

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Lead, Manage and hold the sales team accountable
  • Pursue the vision of the company as a key part of the leadership team
  • Oversee and improve the client journey throughout their proven sales process
  • Manage and improve the business development process
  • Manage the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and training process for the sales team

Experience Required for Consideration

  • Minimum of 3-5 Years as a Successful Sales Leader/Manager
  • Minimum of 5+ Years as a Successful Sales Representative
  • Some affinity for the “Trades” Industry (Painting, Remodeling)
  • Excellent experience with CRM and other technology/software.
  • Developed and managed a Sales planning process, forecasting
  • Developed and managed to a Successful Sales Process
  • Developed and extensive use of a Coaching/Mentoring Process
  • Developed or managed a Sales Development/Training Process
  • Experience holding salespeople accountable for goals – revenues and profit margin
