Sales Representative – High End Appliances

Beaufort, Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Greenville, SC, Charlotte – Live anywhere in territory

Our client, a Columbia, SC based appliance company, is looking for a seasoned sales professional to market and sell high-end appliances to home developers and contractors in a territory that includes: 

  • Columbia to Charlotte
  • Columbia to Greenville
  • Columbia to Myrtle Beach
  • Columbia to Charleston
  • Columbia to Beaufort

 

Sales Representative can live anywhere in the territory.  No relocation necessary.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

·       Selling and promoting appliances to new and existing housing developers and contractors

·       Establishing and maintaining current client and potential client relationships

·       Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow the territory

·       Establishing and following a sales territory plan and process for maximum client-facing time

Experience Needed:

·       Strong Preference for Appliance-related Sales Experience2-3 year’s sales experience, with little to no supervision

·       Experience working a territory with maximum client-facing time

·       Have earned commissions previously

·       Have a great work ethic (High initiative, tenacious, reliable, honest and have high integrity)

·       Ability to learn new technical specifications

·       Exhibit excellent customer service attitudes and behaviors

·       Possess strong communication and negotiation skills

·       Exhibits self-directed behaviors -- working proactively and independently

·       Ability to regularly travel the territory between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, Charleston and Columbia, and Columbia and Greenville

·       Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record

·       Ability to pass a pre-employment and drug screening test & background check

This is a full-time position and the right person will earn an above-average salary plus commissions, paid vacation, medical plan, and paid holidays.  A company car, cell phone and laptop computer area also provided as a part of the package.
