DESCRIPTION

Support the cleanup and restoration of water and mold damaged residential and commercial

building. This includes following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe

and clean environment. Removal of water and mold damaged building materials requiring the

agile use of ladders up to 2 floors (20ft) or occasionally navigate into confined areas such as a

crawlspace, small rooms, closets or storage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to damaged homes or businesses.

• Set up and drying chambers inside of water damaged building.

• Treatment and removal of mold growth.

• Document moister meter reading for water and mold damaged buildings.

• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move, with assistance, up

to 50 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision,

peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Burned homes are

very dark so working in a low light environment is necessary.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven ability to remain organized while working under difficult conditions.

• Ability to read work orders, understand safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions.

• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and to

interact professionally with customers.

• Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and

multitask; proactive and deadline oriented.

• Regularly works in outside weather conditions, fire damaged and condemned homes,

near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid

conditions.
