Candidates will be considered who live within driving distance of any major airport as 50% of the time of this role requires air travel.
Job Description:
The Truck Tire Sales Manager (TTSM) position is accountable for the attainment of the unit and dollar sales targets for TBR products within their assigned sales area. These responsibilities also include the effective interaction with and training of Regional Sales Managers, and developing and maintaining professional relationships with key TBR dealers, their commercial sales forces, and targeted fleet accounts.
The TTSM is the key source of competitive information and market dynamics for division and corporate management, and is responsible for healthy short term results, and productive, long term business development within their assigned markets.
TTSMs have two reporting relationships: a straight line to their functional manager, the Director of Commercial Truck Tire Sales, and a dotted line reporting relationship to their divisional director.
This is a “Road Warrior” role, and travel is estimated at 75%. The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
