Senior Vice President of Operations 

Painters USA: Premier, Woman-Owned, Commercial/Industrial Painting and Coatings Company – High-Growth - RELOCATION POTENTIAL FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE  

Smart Work Network has been retained to conduct an exclusive search for a Senior VP of Operations who will play a pivotal role in driving the operational efficiency, growth, and success of a nationwide painting and coatings business. Our client, Painters USA, is in a high-growth mode in multiple regions with two prominent locations in Illinois and Texas. With an annual revenue exceeding $45 million on its way to $100M+, they have established a reputation for excellence, innovation, and reliability in the industry and need a highly skilled, operational expert to be a part of their Senior Management team and lead their entire Field Operations team. 

 

Reporting directly to the CEO, the SVP will lead a dedicated team of Regional Operations Managers and the Director of Project Management to ensure: 

  • Seamless project execution 
  • Exceptional quality standards 
  • Superior client satisfaction across all locations.  

 

We are seeking seasoned, executive-level, operational leaders, preferably with some construction and/or commercial/industrial painting experience who can deliver the following: 

 

  • Provide innovation and perspective on the strategic initiatives that will play a pivotal role in achieving the company's objectives.  
  • Provide strategic vision, leadership, and operational expertise, instrumental in achieving our company's goals and maintaining our position as an industry leader.  
  • Provide hands-on management and strategic leadership in support of the significant growth Painters USA is set to achieve.  

 

Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred). 
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management within the commercial construction or painting/coatings industry. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading multi-location operations and managing large-scale projects. 
  • Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities with a focus on driving operational excellence and business growth. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team building, coaching, and talent development. 
  • Six-Sigma/Lean Process Experience desired 
  • Preferred: Senior operations experience in a corporation that has revenue between $50 to $100M annually.
