Sales Estimator (Base + Unlimited Commissions – Orland Park, IL)

Join our client, Jondec Painting as a Sales Estimator and Business Development Rep in their family-owned commercial and residential painting company, that has been in business for 35 years and continues their growth in the Orland Park, area.  They have significant brand recognition, 5-star ratings and provide a smooth, hassle-free painting experience that eliminates stress to their customers.

We are seeking highly competitive sales/business development professionals with at least 3 years or more experience who are internally motivated to succeed, willing to learn and grow, and want rewards equal to their effort.  If you think you are one of these, then this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for you.  Construction industry desired but not required.

Sales Estimator Responsibilities

  • Using existing leads provided by the company and well as leads generated by the sales estimator, make appointments with residential customers to understand their needs and then provide detailed, accurate estimates for primarily painting services.
  • Using appropriate communication skills, follow-up with customer until sale is closed and then follow-up to make sure project is going smoothly and to their standards.
  • Use the Company CRM platform (Pipeline Deals) to maintain all contact information as well as all other information related to the client. Follow client sales process.

Business Development Role Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads who can be nurtured into client relationships. These leads will be attained by building relationships with Interior Designers, HOA’s, Cabinet Makers, Building Managers
  • Participate in networking groups to establish business relationships and promote company
  • Use the company CRM platform to maintain all contact information as well as all other information related to the client. Follow client sales process.

Existing relationships within these organizations would be very helpful!

Desired Experience

  • 3-10 years in a previous sales/business development role
  • Basic Proficiency in construction math and measurements
  • Some experience or affinity for the building/construction industry
  • Great work ethic and consistent work history
  • Follows a disciplined Sales Process (like Sandler Sales or other)

Must Have

  • Must live 45-60 minute commute to Orland Park, IL.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Safe Driving Record
  • Drug test and background check - done by client
  • Be Qualified to work in the US
  • Be 18 years or older
